The presence of intuition in humans is undoubtedly recognized by scientists. Nikola Tesla said that intuition is something that is ahead of exact knowledge. But on the female intuition, the opinions of scientists are divided. Some believe that female intuition is a myth, and it is no different from male intuition. Others believe that intuition is much stronger in women than in men, and cites a number of facts proving this. Why do women have more intuition than men?

Brain structure

It's all about the differences in the structure of the brain. More precisely, not in its structure, but in the peculiarities of the processes and in the connections between the hemispheres. For a long time, scientists conducted a series of experiments and identified a difference in the structure of the brain of a man and a woman.

It lies in the fact that women have a better developed connection between the hemispheres, while men have more active processes within the hemispheres. Receiving and processing information in men go more deeply, and in women the process of exchanging information processing between the hemispheres and finding ways to interpret it is more intensive. It is these exchange processes and is considered to be intuition.

Maternal instinct

The scientifically proven fact is that mothers, especially in the first year of a child’s life, sharpen all the senses. This tricky mechanism was invented by nature in order to better protect the child so that the mother can take better care of him while he is in a helpless state. Among many mothers, you can hear stories about how they wake up at night before the baby is crying, have a premonition of his illness, and so on. The connection between mother and child cannot be overestimated, but let's ask ourselves: where do these heightened feelings and premonitions come from?

They do not arise at once from nowhere. This is nothing but the body's own resources, which are awakened by the action of hormones in a certain period of a woman’s life. That is, heightened intuition is inherent in every woman.

Subconscious

Men and women have different approaches to solving their tasks. Men, as stronger both physically and morally, in most cases prefer to go straight, what is called, to act "head on." A woman is not everywhere purely physically can go the same way and act directly, therefore, in solving problems, women often show a creative approach, unconsciously scrolling through all possible solutions.

It is the need to constantly choose a solution from a variety of options that provides women with a more developed intuition. In this context, it is just a well-trained evolution algorithm for choosing the right option. In other words, women often act intuitively.

Observation

And again we turn to history, because intuition, as a deep subconscious mechanism, was not born in a civilized person, it developed along with the human brain over the centuries. Historically, men are hunters, for them physical strength, endurance and speed are important. But women in primitive society got the role of gatherers.

And this is wonderful, because it was thanks to this role that women throughout centuries have closely watched nature, thereby comprehending its deepest laws. While the men were chasing the mammoth, women needed to clearly know which plant was poisonous and which was not, when it was best to pick berries, what part of the plant was edible, and which part was for household use, and so on. It is thanks to this occupation of our distant predecessors, which made them patient and observant, we got a well-developed intuition.

Emotionality

No one will argue with the fact that women are much more emotional and receptive than men. We are used to listening to ourselves, to our feelings and sensations, to our inner voice, which often tells us what to do. It is often said that a woman "lives in the heart." Men, as a rule, are not inclined to listen to their emotions and even more to analyze them; they do not believe in the inner voice and simply ignore its signals, relying more on logic and common sense.

Each of us, for sure, there are many examples of how intuition helped us in life. Intuition is a delicate instrument, presented to us by evolution and our brain, you should not ignore its signals, but you should not trust it blindly either - look for a middle ground. If at some difficult moment you cannot make a decision, then listen to your inner voice, maybe it will tell you the answer.
